For on-premise deployments requiring a local server:

Typical steps​

  1. Confirm server hardware meets System Requirements.
  2. Install the operating system and required runtime/database components.
  3. Install the POS/retail management server software.
  4. Configure backups per the Backup Policy.
  5. Connect POS terminals to the server over the local network.
