Purpose

To minimize downtime and data loss in the event of a major incident affecting Integrated Retail's systems or a client's deployment.

Typical elements

• Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) targets per system criticality.
• Documented failover procedures for critical services.
• Regular testing of backup restoration (see Backup Policy).
• Defined roles and communication plan during an incident.

Specific RTO/RPO targets are agreed per client deployment.
